By attending Shankatahara Chathurthi Pooja all the obstacles are removed for achieving devotee’s prayers or sankalpa.

His diving trunk faces straight instead of the traditional of either curving to the right (valamburi) or left (edamburi). Since Sree Bala Vinayagar has the third eye (Netrikkan), along with the Chinmuthirai pose in his right hand (the thumb and the forefinger touch to form a circle with the other three fingers in an erect posture) and the earth in his left and with a soolam in his crown (kreedam).

The word Ganapathy denotes Lord Siva with his third eye (Netrikkan) which over a period of time, became Ganapathy when goddess Sakthi appears along with Lord Siva .She embodies supreme divinity, which is the reason why Sree Bala Ganapathy appears in the Siva Sakthi Form.
